What are Coronaviruses?
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that are known to cause illness ranging from the common cold to more serious diseases such as SARS. In late 2019, a new strain of coronavirus that has not been previously identified in humans is called the Covid-19 virus.
How is it spread?
Person to person spread of the Covid-19 is reported as occurring, but it is not yet understood how easily this happens. Other human coronavirus strains are spread from person to person through contaminated droplets from a person who is sick with the illness via coughing or sneezing or contaminated surfaces or hands.
What are the symptoms?
The most common symptom is a fever. Other symptoms include a cough, sore throat and shortness of breath. In severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia with severe acute respiratory distress.
If you develop symptoms, see medical attention as soon as possible and please reconsider your need to visit our store in person until you are well.
I have symptoms, what should I do to protect myself, my family and my community?
Practice good hygiene by covering your coughs and sneezes. Wash your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water.
If you or your family have symptoms, we respectfully request you reconsider visiting our store until you and your family are well to protect our other staff and customers.
